PSALM 62 1:23-1:26

 GO WHERE YOU ARE CELEBRATED.

I cannot stress this enough. 

Pick the job where you are valued. Choose the friends that are happy for your successes. Date the person that builds you up and makes you a better person. Make decisions based on how they will reflect the relationship you have with yourself. If you know you are a high quality person, why would you settle for a job, friends, or a spouse who doesn't reflect your value? Come on.

Once you realize you are the prize, you will no longer settle for less than what you know you deserve. 

You can start recognizing your greatness by listing out all of your attributes; what makes you, you. Don't limit yourself when you do this. The longer the list, the better. Journaling is a beautiful way to get to know yourself and also help you evolve in areas you need to work on. Once this list is complete, you'll be able to acknowledge your worth with more confidence.

I also want to remind you that if you are currently in a situation where you are not being celebrated, take a step back and assess it. Ask yourself what lessons can be learned from this situation, environment, or the people you are dealing with. Everyone and everything is simply you pushed out. So, ultimately there is a reason why whatever the lesson is currently is being reflected back to you. 

Get that journal back out, flip to a new page, and start that shadow work. You may currently be contributing to the problem, but good news! That means you are capable of finding the solution. You just have to put the work in to learn from the lessons that are being presented to you. Ask yourself how your current situation makes you feel. List steps that you believe you could take to improve those feelings. Create a game plan for yourself that works for you. You don't have to have someone else tell you how to make these changes. Trust yourself to make decisions that are beneficial for your highest good. I promise you that you are fully capable of doing so. Be confident enough to celebrate who you are, then your external world will too.
