"WE'RE JUST TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE"

we see the world as we are, not as it is.

perspective is everything.

stop looking for yourself in everyone you meet.

all it will do is leave you disappointed. 

stop looking for the same love you give others to be reciprocated. 

 all it will do is leave you devastated. 

stop looking for other people to give you the same grace you give them.

all it will do is make you question your self worth.

no one is you and that is your power.

no one loves the way you do.

no one is compassionate the way you are. 

no one puts others before themselves like you.

to be you is something so incredibly unique that it cannot be duplicated.

so stop trying to find yourself in those that you meet.

you are one of a kind.

and remember access to you and your energy is truly a privilege.

we are two different people; you're right.

and that's okay.

but there's something to be said about feeling

understood, 

heard,

and valued.

we both deserve to feel those things, you and i, whether we are alike or not. 

we all do.

no matter how we see the world or how we see each other.

i see the greatness within you, i just wish you could see it too.
